I’m Dag Larson, a commercial photographer and director partnering with brands and agencies to create visual content that drives engagement, clarity, and measurable impact.
With over 15 years of experience in advertising and brand storytelling, I specialize in photography and film built to support modern marketing ecosystems. My work is designed with distribution in mind, from paid social and ecommerce to editorial and long-form brand campaigns.
I operate as an extension of internal teams, collaborating closely with marketers, creatives, and producers to align visuals with brand positioning, audience intent, and performance goals. From concept through execution, I bring a strategic lens to every production while maintaining a high standard of craft and authenticity. There is no better time than working on a creative project with Dag. He's my go-to for studio projects / lifestyle projects / someone-needs-to-hang-off-the-wing-of-a-plane-to-get-the-shot projects.... really, if it sounds like a challenging gig, I call Dag. He's creative, always keeps shoots lighthearted (a MUST HAVE for long days) and efficient. When I started working with Dag years ago, I barely understood the process of a photoshoot. He was able to hold my hand (sometimes quite literally over treacherous terrain) and guide me through exactly what he was doing, why, and how it would affect the final results.
